In this video we will digitise an irrigated area in QGIS and use the polygon as a 'cookie cutter' to extract a 5-year NDVI time-series from Sentinel-2 satellite images in the Copernicus app. We will also make a time lapse animation (movie) of false colour infrared satellite images from 2016 to present. This example is from an irrigated area downstream of the Mirani dam in Balochistan, Pakistan.
