For the fourth episode of my Tuesday Two Minute Tasting Series, I thought I'd pull out a core offering from Knob Creek -- the 9 Year Single Barrel Reserve (not to be confused with the 9 Year Small Batch!). This bottle presents mostly classic bourbon flavors in a ramped up way, coming in at 120 proof and offering a more intense drinking experience than other bourbons I've highlighted on this series thus far. I love the affordable price point and transparency on this one -- it sports a 9 year age statement, single barrel distinction, and is an unfiltered (nearly cask strength) expression. I will be taking a break from this series to focus on some other creative video projects for the channel, but it may return in the future!
