Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that military action against Iran will be quick and decisive, not an endless war. Netanyahu stated that it will be up to the people of Iran to change their government, echoing remarks by US President Donald Trump and US Secretary of Defence Pete Hegseth about a golden opportunity for Iranians. Trump indicated that US military projections of four to five weeks remain on track, with operations currently ahead of schedule. The US and Israel have targeted Iranian naval assets, with 11 Iranian ships reportedly destroyed, along with the strategic port of Bandar Abbas, over 600 missile sites, and command-control centres.
