My work spans high-rise buildings, office and residential structures, industrial systems, and seismic retrofitting of soft-story buildings, primarily following U.S. and international design codes. I hold a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from Delhi Technological University (formerly DCE) and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Rajasthan Technical University. My academic background, combined with hands-on industry experience, has shaped a strong foundation in structural behavior, load path understanding, and performance-based design. Currently, I am working as a Structural Engineer at Efficiently, where I focus on the design and optimization of steel and RCC structural systems. My role involves detailed analysis using ETABS and SAFE, coordination with architects and contractors, review of shop and fabrication drawings, and ensuring constructability and compliance with AISC, ACI, and ASCE standards. Seismic and wind-resistant systems such as shear walls, braced frames, and moment frames are a key part of my daily work. Previously, I worked with ACE Global Design Services, where I was involved in U.S.-based seismic retrofit projects, including soft-story strengthening. I also designed solar canopies, performed wind and seismic load calculations as per ASCE 7, and developed custom calculation tools using Python and Mathcad. In addition, I designed wood framing systems for residential projects in compliance with NDS and coordinated closely with drafting teams to deliver construction-ready drawings. I have also independently delivered projects under NS CON EN, handling complete structural design for wood and steel buildings from concept through construction. Earlier in my career, at CE CON ENGG, I worked on high-rise buildings involving advanced systems such as base isolation, special moment-resisting frames, shear walls, and deep foundations, supported by detailed FEM analysis using ETABS. My technical skill set includes ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, RISA, RAM Elements, ENERCALC, AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, and Bluebeam, along with strong experience in manual calculations and Python-based engineering workflows. I actively work with multiple codes including IS codes, Eurocodes, ACI, ASCE, and AISC. Through this video course, my goal is to share practical, real-world structural design knowledge, not just software steps.
