Scotland ORCA Encounter | KILLER WHALES return to Caithness (October 2025)

We're back in mainland Scotland and back with the 65s & Split 27s orca (killer whale) pods! It feels like we have been following this pod of orca around for nearly a year now - seeing them in Orkney, Caithness, Aberdeen and Shetland too! Orca were reported early off the Trinkie, Wick - as we arrived we soon learned the two huge bulls were there - Busta (65s) and Bull 72 (27s) and spent the rest of the day following this mixed pod of orca down the coast of Caithness, stopping off at as many places as we could to watch these amazing animals. This was the first time orca had returned to Caithness since June - which we were also lucky enough to be at following this exact same pod!
