Today I will show you How to Crochet your own Houndstooth Mini Skirt. This skirt is made base on your own body measurements. There will be no exact number of sts given nor number of rows, just examples so you will have an idea and you can decide how you want your skirt to look. This is you designing your own skirt, I know how can be overwhelming to be able to design and make your own garment, so here I am giving you the privilege to design your own Houndstooth Mini Skirt. Make this skirt in classic black and white or any colour you favour. This skirt can be made in all sizes, from Children, Teens, to Adult. Most part of the skirt is made with a pattern called Griddle Stitch. The Griddle Stitch is an easy stitch using a combination of basic beginner crochet stitches to create a textured project surface. The Griddle Stitch uses the single crochet and a double crochet stitch which gives the crochet project a really awesome look. If you can crochet those two stitches then you are good to go. I used 1.5 balls black, 1.5 balls white. 1 ball- 50g 120m You can use any yarn of your choice Crochet Hook - Use the hook that is recommended for your yarn. I used US G/6 Hook (4 mm), UK 8 2 pcs Stitch Markers (Scrap Yarn) Pair of Scissors Yarn Needle Sewing Elastic ( Optional) If you want your skirt to have an elastic waist then you will need a sewing elastic band. 3/4 inch wide- 1 inch wide are good sizes for the waist band.
