Three candidates for the Dunkley by-election face questions from voters in Sky News Australia host Paul Murray’s latest Pub Test. The Q&A featured Liberal Party candidate Nathan Conroy, Libertarian Party candidate Chrysten Abraham and Australian Democrats candidate Heath McKenzie. Each of the three candidates faced questions about the youth crime crisis, what policies they would take to parliament and what they would do if they were in the Prime Minister’s shoes. The by-election will be the government’s first major ballot box litmus test and the stakes are high for both leaders. The passing of former federal member for Dunkley, Peta Murphy will be at the front of mind for many voters, saying they will vote for Labor candidate Jodie Belyea based on the fact they sympathise with the circumstances.
