X-Wing Alliance | 4K Cinematic Shaders v2 Comparison [Experimental]

This is a brief capture of 4K gameplay in the vintage X-Wing Alliance (1999) PC game using the excellent X-Wing Alliance Upgrade 2025 mod. Here I am comparing the base X-Wing Alliance game to the XWA Upgrade without and with my additional Reshade configuration. It has been 5 years since my last shader video, and you can see for yourself the improvements to the models, graphics, and sounds made by that team in this custom mission. You can get XWA Upgrade 2025 for free at: https://xwaupgrade.com/ For this video, I am experimenting with various shaders using Reshade 6.7 to achieve a cinematic film look on top of the default look of the XWA Upgrade project. For gameplay purposes, some of the shader effects I've added probably should be dialed back (e.g. the bloom or motion blur shaders in particular), but I thought this was a fun experiment.
