Aspiring hair rockers walk the Strip and hand out flyers having no idea that within one year their bands would be completely passé. My two friends and I were homeless and living in a car on a doomed mission to “make it” with our non-existent band. We had just befriended a young rocker kid who still lived at home with his parents, and one night we got him to bring a couple of his friends and his parent’s video camera out to the Strip to hang with us.
