Jonangu Shrine 2026 | Even Past Full Bloom, Still This Beautiful | Camellias, Weeping Plums, and Haydn’s “The Philosopher” 2026年3月5日、城南宮。 毎年恒例の撮影地だが、今年は大阪城梅林に心惹かれ、訪問を見送ろうかとも思っていた。 満開は既に過ぎていた。 だが、この日は快晴だった。 午後2時前に一目散に向かった。 そして、そこで私を待っていたのは、しだれ梅だけではなかった。 この日の真の主役は、むしろ椿だったのかもしれない。 いずれにしても、本作品には良い写真が並んでいる。 音楽には、ハイドンの交響曲第22番《哲学者》を、映像の長さに合わせて使用した。 城南宮の春の気配と、静かな光の中に浮かび上がる花々の表情を、ぜひご覧下さい。 March 5, 2026, Jonangu Shrine. This is one of my annual destinations for photography, but this year I had been so drawn to the plum grove at Osaka Castle that I was even considering skipping Jonangu. The peak bloom had already passed. Yet the sky was perfectly clear that day. Just before 2 p.m., I headed there at once. And what awaited me was not only the weeping plum blossoms. The true stars of the day may well have been the camellias. In any case, this work is filled with fine photographs. For the music, I used Haydn’s Symphony No. 22, “The Philosopher,” edited to match the full length of the video. I hope you will enjoy the early breath of spring at Jonangu Shrine and the flowers emerging in serene light.
