#classicalmetal #metalopera #symphonicmetal i wrote another little metal opera. Synposis Part I: In "The Wooden Flute" part 1 the married couple Walter and Veronika are going for a walk in the woods. This is where they first had met each other. Walter had found Veronika sleeping on the forest ground and woke her up by playing his flute made from these trees. What neither of them knew is that this site is home to the Forest King, a spirit of these woods, who is in control of the roots and the trees. Back then, while Veronika had been asleep, the Forest King hid a seed inside of her, in hopes of an offspring to take care of the forest kingdom at his side. Now that Veronika, who is big with child by now, has returned to this place, the Forest King lures her away from her husband Walter and into a trap. He tries to hold her captive until she gives birth to a child half human and half forest spirit. When Walter eventually finds them, he arranges a deal with the Forest King: In exchange for Walters' wooden flute, which is also a part of the Forest King and elementarily connected to his realm, he allows Veronika and Walter to go home.
