This panel and Q&A for The Trials of Spring A Multimedia Initiative features moderator Andrea Holley, HRW, Executive Producer Gini Reticker, Producer Beth Levison, Digital Director Lauren Feeney, Digital Strategist Samia Kahn and Ann Derry, The NY Times. This panel and screening took place on June 17, 2015 at the IFC Center. Through our Human Rights Watch Film Festival we bear witness to human rights violations and create a forum for courageous individuals on both sides of the lens to empower audiences with the knowledge that personal commitment can make a difference. The HRW Film Festival currently presents festivals and screening events in over 20 cities around the world throughout the year. Following each film presentation, we host discussions with filmmakers and HRW festival or research staff to expand on and explore the issues featured in the film.
