Hoag Summer Road Trip | Episode 5 | Niagara Falls to New Jersey | The Road Trip Is Done

The final stretch of the family cross country road trip landed us at Niagara Falls, located in upstate New York at the Canada border. This has been a bucket list item for us and unlike Mount Rushmore, Niagara Falls delivered. We didn't get a chance to take the boat or the Cave of Winds tour, but we still had fun walking around and seeing the area. The area is definitely lacking in space to park a trailer and motorhome, so keep that in mind if you ever think about road tripping it. After Niagara, we headed South to Jersey and found a Walmart parking lot to finally call it a night and end the mileage. Niagara Falls is comprised of 3 falls, with Horseshoe Falls being the largest and lying on the border of the United States and Canada. American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls lie on the American side, but are much smaller in comparison to Horseshoe. The average flow rate is 2,400 cubic metres per second! But that still doesn't keep them from freezing over in the winter time, which is a sight to see. Episode 6 is on it's way.
