They say you can practically run into alligators while just walking around in Florida. For us, who've only seen alligators/crocodiles in zoos, we're really itching to see them in the wild. The Everglades National Park is massive – it has entrances in the north and south, and you could easily spend a whole day there, starting from the morning till evening. Since we had limited time this trip, we spent half a day and covered four trails. It wasn't tiring, and the atmosphere was incredibly serene, perfect for kids and anyone who loves getting up close to nature. Of course, there were some exciting activities too, like airboat rides, kayaking, and more, for those looking for a bit of an adrenaline rush. Oh, and guess what? When we were planning the trip, we found out that the common alligator in Florida is the American alligator, which is kind of cute and charming.
