Happy 73rd Indian Independence Day! This video is a fun highlight to the Independence Day celebrations with the Indian Student Association at The University of Texas at Dallas and the Indian Mavericks Society at The University of Texas at Arlington. It was an honor getting to attend and also present 2 poems to help celebrate. One poem was "Freedom" by Rabindranath Tagore, and the second one I wrote myself. This is a great example of how international students celebrate their holidays and display their culture in America.
