Lake Champlain 2024, Chasing Northern Pike

In this video my buddy Bobby and I head up to Lake Champlain to see if we can get on some big Northern Pike using some of the lures I Painted. The water was low and the bite was slow so we headed up the Lamoille River which was chocolate brown from the previous night's rain. I hooked into one using a Silicone Swimbait I got this winter at the NH Sportsman's Show but we were not prepared and he jumped off before we could get the net out. We did explore a little further up the river than we had before and even though we weren't on the fish we had a good time as we always do whenever we get a chance to get on the water together. The wind really picked up so we decided to pack it in after about 6 hours on the water. The Ramp was a Zoo with all the pleasure boaters putting in around noon when we came off. I should know better than to go to this really popular lake on Memorial Day but we go when we can go and put up with the Flatlanders. Thanks for coming along....... Peace
