A visual album of improvisation and greenery. Recorded at Skokie Lagoons, a series of 7 lagoons connected by dozens of channels and islands spanning 894 acres of the Cook County Forest Preserve District outside of Chicago, Illinois. The lagoons are located on the traditional homelands of the Council of Three Fires – the Ojibwa, Ottawa, and Patawatomi tribes. The name Skokie is derived from the Patawatomi “che-wabskoki” for large wet prairie or marsh.
