Go and get a block or a thick book, as you will need to use this as a prop. Michael is a keen swimmer and has designed this class to focus on STRENGTHENING and OPENING UP THE SHOULDERS and HIP FLEXORS, creating both STRENGTH & FLEXIBILITY. You will find that YOGA CAN REALLY COMPLEMENT YOUR SWIMMING TRAINING if practiced two to three times per week, helping you to IMPROVE YOUR GAME and with INJURY PREVENTION. Michael's Bio Michael is one of our Brand Warriors, a fully qualified Yoga Trainer and Personal Trainer. He is based in Victoria, Canada. Michael has been running Four Body Design since 2015, helping students to create greater health, fitness and purpose in their lives. When he was younger he dealt with anxiety and he developed ulcerative colitis - an auto-immune disease that affects the large intestine. This diagnosis and anxiety caused him to plunge into a downward spiral towards depression and a complete breakdown. Thankfully, after having reached rock bottom, he was able to rebuild himself back to his former self and he attributes Yoga as being the main catalyst which sparked this transformation.
