I’ve been using the Voigtländer Ultron 27mm F2 on my Fujifilm camera, and honestly, this lens has completely won me over. With its compact pancake design, outstanding image quality, and signature Voigtländer rendering, it has quickly become my favorite everyday carry lens. At 27mm (40mm full-frame equivalent), it’s versatile enough for street photography, travel, and even casual portraits. The F2 aperture gives solid low-light performance and smooth, natural bokeh without overdoing it. Plus, the all-metal build and buttery-smooth focus ring make shooting with this lens a joy. I especially love how this lens balances size and quality perfectly—it keeps my setup lightweight without compromising performance. If I had to pick just one lens to use, this would be it. One thing to note—on older Fujifilm bodies like the X-Pro2, the electronic connection isn’t supported, meaning you lose features like automatic focus magnification, EXIF data, and other digital aids that enhance the true rangefinder experience. However, on newer Fuji cameras, these functions work seamlessly. Watch the video to see sample shots and my full experience using this lens, would you use this as your everyday lens?
