To reach this spot you need to drive almost 30 minutes from Calicut city, but it is worth the time and efforts you invest. Chandrettante chayakkada in Kozhikode is a traditional teashop located towards the village side of Calicut (on Connaught Road, Karanthur in Kozhikode district). This tea shop serves local dishes like Kaipathiri, Aringode, Puzhukku and Kerala meal with various veg and non-veg options. Their fish tawa fry is also famous among the customers.
