Freesia | Gundam IBO S2 ED | English Cover

An English cover of the song "Freesia" by the Japanese artist Uru, which was the final ending song of the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam - Iron Blooded Orphans. The series concluded its original run 5 years ago today (on 02 April 2017) so I began work about a month ago to create this cover to commemorate the anniversary. In my mind the original is a beautiful work about how hope perseveres even if we don't, and was perfectly fitting for the anime's conclusion. I tried to retain as much of the original meaning in the Japanese lyrics as possible, and while I know the singing in this cover isn't exactly top-notch, I hope my lyrics at least do the song justice.
