Breast Cancer Musical Night | Dr. Geeta Kadayaprath | Bliss Foundation 16th Nov 24

We often talk of human resilience but if you have to see it unfold in front of your eyes, you should have been at the India International centre on 16th November 2024. We organised a musical evening under the aegis of Bliss Foundation. What was unique about this event was that it strung together a symphony of inspiring songs sung by the passionate Luttf team and an equally inspiring performance by our Champions who have been through the arduous experience of breast cancer. They were there to tell the world that the experience of having been through breast cancer does not define them. This event was about music and celebration. Music inspires, motivates and heals. With each group of champions performing to beautiful songs sung by the Luttfites, it was hard not to get engaged with them as the attendees swayed to the music in sync with the champions. While the whole experience was emotional for many, it was also uplifting! Whether it was ‘ Mud mud ke na dekh’ or ‘zindagi kaisi hai paheli’ or ‘aage bhi jaane na tu’ or ‘ai zindagi gale laga le’, each song wowed the audience, more so as they were accompanied by the inspiring performances of our courageous Champions . While the cancer journey is not easy, it is only hope for a bright beautiful life beyond it, that keeps most of our patients moving. A large part of our job is to kindle the hope and nudging them to that goal. Today is all that we have! Make the most of it. Let not the vagaries and uncertainties of life come in the way of your dreams!
