In a shocking incident in Uttar Pradesh's Rampur district, a group of 14 men molested two women near a village, filmed the whole incident on their mobile phones and posted the video on social media. The police have filed a case of molestation. The main accused has been arrested and the police say they are looking for more people involved in the incident. The women have not been identified as yet, say the police. In the footage, the men, who are on motorbikes, can be seen blocking their way on a road. They then start touching, pushing, pulling and abusing them. The women's wails and screams can be heard in the video. The BP government in Uttar Pradesh, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has been severely criticised for a rise in criminal activities in the state. The government had set up anti-Romeo squads to punish youth who misbehaved with women but so far they have only publicly shamed couples and young men in the name of protecting women from harassment.
