On this video, we discuss customer service with the morning show "Mom's Everyday." Check out our latest interview on KXII Channel 12. Eagle Employer Serivces: Human Resources Outsourcing, Payroll. If your employer uses an employer service, and you have an issue, who do you go to? If you (Eagle Employer Services) were doing work for a company, and they have an employee that has a problem arise, an issue or concern, who do they take it to? Do they take it to you, if it concerns, for example, their paycheck? Or, do they take it to their employer? Normally, they would take it to their employer. But because we do write the checks, many employees assume that we are the employer. And we are not. We are an employer service. But we act in the role of the employer for the checks. So if they bring a concern to you, how do you then handle it, considering you work for the employer? Sometimes it's comical because the employees will bring a story about their check to us. But it's the employers' decision. And we will let them (The employer) know what the situation is. And we will let them know if there is a valid reason that we've looked at, and say this may be an issue. You need to take a look at it. But ultimately, any time an employee comes to us, we go to the employer. And we discuss it with them and let the employer handle it. If the employer wants us to handle it, they will direct us to do so. Do you provide the employer with guidance on how to resolve something that you may have seen before, but they have not. We do, and a lot of times we get asked for guidance. If it is a situation that the employer is concerned about, they want to know, am I doing this properly? Am I doing this legally? Where are the boundaries? And that is where we have a tremendous asset in the 34 people at corporate that assist us in these things. They have endless amounts of experience to guide us and send them information to help them along the way. Without revealing anything confidential from your clients, what are some of the issues that you have seen, that small business owners may only see once in a blue moon? If its a small company, everybody knows each other, you don't see somebody complain about not getting paid. We have had companies where the employee has complained that they didn't get paid, when in fact, they didn't go to work, and they didn't want to tell their wife that they were skipping out on work, and they made out like they didn't get paid. We have an ability to be able to confirm the hours, that the employee was in fact not there, and assist the employer.
