Microlite JavaPress by GSI outdoors | Review and concerns

Today I’m taking a look at the Microlite JavaPress by GSI outdoors, at first glance it seems like a great idea but after using it, it showed some issues. Overall I want to say that as a French press It works just fine, but as a travel mug It falls short. First, it leaks heavily. This I believe is due to the fact that the top of the mug screws on to the inner vessel and there is no way to actually anchor that vessel to the insulated body of the mug. As well the Carrying strap is attached to the lid and not the body so holding it by this strap will pull the lid off after a while. Second, due to the fact that the inner vessel is not actually attached to the body the pressure from brewing hot coffee in it will actually force the lid off of the mug and put you in danger of spilling hot liquid. That’s pretty much the main concern, but if you own this and found anything else, or, you actually have one that works well please leave it in the comments, I love to hear about your experience with the brewers I review just in case I missed anything. If you do want to try this out for yourself I have It linked right here In the description! https://gsioutdoors.com/microlite-jav... Also if you want to watch my first GSI review it’s linked at the end of the video 🤙🤙 And as always thank you so much for watching and I’ll see you all in the next episode of Blue Truck Coffee Channel! 😊
