AVONDALE, Ohio (Adam Clements) -- Friends and family of Samuel Dubose gathered at a The Church of the Living God in Avondale on Tuesday. They are there to say goodbye to the man shot and killed by a University of Cincinnati police officer. Friends, family, and even complete strangers lined up to pay their respects to Dubose. Hundreds showed up to say goodbye to the 46-year-old. Emotions have been high as Tuesday morning at the church as friends and family members embraced each other, some shedding tears. While some attendees were very vocal about their grievances over the death of Dubose, the scene was peaceful. "It really hurts me," said Krystal Stallworth. "When I heard about it I just couldn't believe it... He was always a good person." "Why can't this stuff stop?" asked Asia Sanders. "I'm speechless... Why can't we all just get along?" Both Cincinnati Police Chief Jeffrey Blackwell and Mayor John Cranley were seen in attendance along with University of Cincinnati President Santa Ono. Dubose's burial will take place at a cemetery on Glendale-Milford Road following the service. Follow Adam Clements on Twitter @aclementswkrc, and LIKE him on Facebook.
