Painting a Lion - Final Layer

Thank you for watching! Please help my art gain visibility by liking and subscribing! I am still trying to figure out the best setup for my camera and lighting so I scrubbed the video of the sketch phase. In this video I have already painted in the shadows and initial layer. I am continuing to establish the base colors and values. When painting on a black canvas it may look like there is no color, but I build up the lions face and body with layering. The lion is done mainly with acrylic paint, then the initial background is done in acrylic just to see how the composition looks. The finished piece can be viewed at lisafalconart.weebly.com
