Join me for a shakedown run on the Ironclads trail as I test out some recent modifications to the Jeep. We recently extended the wheelbase by about half an inch and overhauled the lighting setup, including new main spots with flood capability, fog lights, and directional aiming lights. The main goal today was checking for tire rub at full flex and seeing how close my lights get to my sway bar links on a trail rated 5/10 with some optional 6/10 lines. Despite the icy conditions and running at full street pressure, the rig performed exceptionally well. I also talk about why I prefer a balanced sway bar setup for stability and share my "25/75 rule" for vehicle builds. Key modifications tested in this video: Wheelbase Extension: Pushed out ~0.5 inches to center the tires. Lighting Suite: New steerable knuckle lights, side-shooting floods, and fog lights. Suspension Testing: Checking if my sway bar links hit my knuckle lights. ORO Multi-Mode Front Sway Bar: Discussion on why I don't run a "disconnected sway bar" for better stability.
