A friend of mine asked me if I could redo his very old fireplace bellow his parent’s passed down to him. It had many holes and did not work efficiently. I’ve never done a project like this but I love a challenge! I took off the old leather and used it as a pattern to cut out the new leather. I used all of the original tacks. I found a picture online of a similar bellow and saw that this one used to have a strap to hang and a strap to hold the pieces together, so I recreated those too. I did a lot of research to find the right leather for this project as it had to be strong but flexible I found the leather on weaverlyleathersupply.com Leather from Weaverly Leather Supply: Sal Paulo Double Shoulder, 3-4oz Tack remover: https://amzn.to/4fBz4jZ Tacks: https://amzn.to/4gEuVwX Wood polish: https://amzn.to/4fxHAAB Leather conditioner: https://amzn.to/4gzQMpf Leather burnisher tool: https://amzn.to/3ZVmhTB Leather edge beveler: https://amzn.to/49TF3PZ Leather burnishing gum: https://amzn.to/49T5Onz
