Couldn't resist the opportunity to fly on the iconic Boeing 747 again. This was flight LH402 from Frankfurt to Newark, New Jersey on November 4th 2025. Filmed from seat 31A, just behind the wing. A beautiful sunny day both ends of the flight. Departure from Frankfurt on RWY25C with a sharp left hand turn straight away, some gorgeous Autumnal colours across the German countryside as we climb out. Once in the cruise we passed directly over London. Some spectacular views of the river Thames and some of the London landmarks like the O2 arena and the London Eye. As well as London Heathrow Airport very clearly visible down below. Once over the Atlantic we had some company in the form of an American 777-200. I later did a playback on flight radar and it was AA109 from LHR-BOS. We had a little bit of turbulence over the Western side of the Atlantic, some good shots of the 747s wingflex during that. But it did smooth out as we reached landfall, crossing Newfoundland. Before starting our descent into Newark. Some stunning views again over the suburbs as we make our approach and then the views of New York City and Manhattan on our final approach into Newark. All in all theres lots of beautiful views throughout the video.
