Save the Children is a 1973 American documentary film directed by Stan Lathan and written by Matt Robinson. The concert documentary film chronicles performers that appeared during Jesse Jackson's Operation PUSH exposition held in 1972 in Chicago. The film was released on September 18, 1973, by Paramount Pictures. A double vinyl soundtrack recording was released by Motwon Records, but was never reissued on CD or Digital formats. The complete film has never been issued officially on VHS or DVD (parts can be found on Youtube, dubbed from various DVD compilations and documentaries), Unavailable for over 45 years, we share the soundtrack for historical purposes.
