This is a review of the Lil’ Chizler. This product is designed for removing stickers and vinyl. I did not receive this product for free or get paid to write this review. I am in the process of re-imaging my boat. I was looking for a product that could help lift the vinyl off of the boat and not gouge the paint. I did some research on the Internet and found these. PROS: 1. Small enough tool even for smaller hands. 2. No sharp corners that could gouge surface where vinyl is being removed. 3. Different corners to give a variety of angles to find one that best works for the removal of your vinyl. 4. Relatively inexpensive. Buy a multi-pack so if the edge gets damaged or dull you can replace it. CONS: 1. Will lift the Vinyl, but Most Likely the Tack will remain. 2. Will help remove tack only if using additional products. The Lil’ Chizler is essentially a plastic razor blade. It is small enough to fit even in small hands. One side has a bevel edge on all sides, while the back is completely flat. It has rounded corners on the tool so there are no sharp corners. While using the unit I found with smaller vinyl letters, it worked best by applying constant pressure. With larger vinyl with more surface area, I found sometimes I had to “Saw” at the vinyl to get the edge lifted. You really need to try several different angles as well as edges to find a technique that works best with the vinyl that you were trying to remove. Overall, I believe this is a great little product. Do note that it will help you remove the vinyl itself, but most likely the tack will remain. You will need to use additional products to lift the tack as most likely the ‘Lil Chizler will just smear the tack and not remove it on its own. You will most likely need to use some type of sticker remover or if you are re-imaging the boat you may decide to use something stronger such as a lacquer thinner. I do like the fact that it will not gouge the paint, so if you are just repainting your area you can do a light sand and not have to worry about having areas with gouges in them.
