Compassionate activists from California to South Korea have been carrying out incredible, peaceful actions over the past week to bring attention to the suffering of billions of sentient individuals, and to demand the Right to Rescue and an Animal Bill of Rights from their legislators. This CBS 8 news clip highlights just a few of the many actions. Rose’s Law, was created after a mass open rescue event one year ago in which 58 peaceful activists were arrested while rescuing sick and injured birds from a “free range” Amazon “farm” in Sonoma County. Nine of the rescued animals were taken from activists’ arms and were later killed by law enforcement. Rose the Chicken was the only individual permitted to live. Jeff Bezos, Amazon, and Whole Foods have continuously refused to acknowledge the presence of criminal animal cruelty on their “farms”, and they respond to evidence and peaceful actions with stonewalling, legal actions, and attempts to discredit and smear activists.
