We struggled with the type of step or running boards we wanted to use in our van build and decided the Thule V16 Step was going to be best for us. It’s the widest platform they make which makes it an easy step out of the van as well as a firm step getting back in. It splits the height difference very well for us now and likely for the future. Thule now has a newer version for the Ducato/ProMaster which is the V19 but from everything I can see I don’t see the difference. The install would only take me 30 minutes now that I’ve completed this myself. Our next video will show the control module and wiring detail. The height from the ground to the top of the step is 12 inches and the distance from the top of the step to our finished floor which is an inch thick is 10 inches. We've been using this step for over 1 year and have been super pleased with it and would do it again.
