For over a century, a collection of odd and/or unsolved missing persons cases primarily centered around North America’s wildlands have been documented, and to this day nobody knows what happened - but people do have some ideas. One of those people is David Paulides, a former police officer and leading Bigfoot researcher brought to noteriety by his book and movie series Missing 411. According to Paulides, just under forty of those can be found in Pennsylvania alone, making it the largest single cluster of missing children in the United States or Canada, which happen to fit the Missing 411 profile. In our first episode on the “Pennsylvania Cluster” we covered about thirteen of them, specifically those which - while odd on the face of things - did have likely, very mundane explanations. These were primarily stories of children who were found just a mile or two from home, those who said something odd but also on brand for a toddler about what happened to them, or those who simply encountered natural tragedies as a result of poor decision making by either the child or the parent. However, as I said, there were just thirteen of thirty-nine that could easily be explained, leaving twenty-six that don’t seem to fit the bill of accident or simple wanderlust.
