Sydney COVID-19 Emergency: Four weeks into lockdown, case numbers are still shooting up. 136 cases were revealed today. And more concerning was that 53 of those cases were infectious in the community. And a death was reported - it's the 6th of this outbreak. The information was enough for the Premier to make that drastic declaration. The NSW government has extended the harshest restrictions to more council areas in the city's west and is calling for vaccine priority to get more at-risk people protected.
