KONNY BABY CARRIER REVIEW AND DEMO Konny Baby Carriers are popping up ALL the time in our social feeds and on Amazon. It LOOKS like an an easy peasy alternative to a stretchy wrap. But is it too good to be true? Here's what you need to know: The Konny is non adjustable so it CAN be difficult to get an ideal fit for your baby. A carrier that is too loose MAY be unsafe for your baby. The Konny comes in sizes, based on your clothing size, so use their online quiz to pick the right one. If you're lucky, it will fit great. This is a small and fits me fine, BUT only with a larger newborn doll (about the size of a 2-month-old). With a 'true' newborn this would feel too loose and not terribly secure. Sized carriers are a bit of a CLEVER MARKETING MOVE: they're CHEAP to make compared to a stretchy wrap (as there's less fabric) AND they encourage you to buy one for mum and one for dad, as parents are usually different sizes. So you'll need to spend £100 for 2 x £50 (ish) Konny carriers for 2 parents. In short? IF it fits snugly and safely, you'll enjoy using this until baby is about 2 or 3 months old. Maybe longer but NO WAY ON EARTH will this last you up to the 'recommended weight 'of 20kg!!! It's also wonderfully lightweight, so will be nice for summer weather and for snuggles around the house. But in my expert opinion: You are probably better off getting a totally adjustable stretchy wrap (£40-£70), a Close Caboo (£65-£75) which works like this but has rings that make it FULLY adjustable; or a click-and-go Izmi Baby Carrier (£75).
