【Otsu City Lake Otsu Nagisa Park】 A long and narrow park that stretches for about 4.8km on the shores of Lake Biwa from the east of Otsu Port to the Morikoshi River that runs near JR Ishiyama Station. It is divided into 6 areas, including many sports and cultural facilities. Completed in September 1998 (Heisei 10). Since 2007 (Heisei 19), as one of the projects of the Otsu City Central City Revitalization Basic Plan, Machizukuri Otsu Co., Ltd. has promoted various aspects of maintenance, and as part of the project, 2009 (2009) 4 On March 23, four cafes "Nagisa Terrace" opened to the west of Lake Biwa Hall. As a park where you can take a walk while enjoying the scenery of Lake Biwa, it is popular with many citizens and tourists, including light sports and walking dogs. Received "100 Selections of Cityscape (Minister of Construction Award)" in 1995 (Heisei 7). Selected by the Global Environment Kansai Forum as one of the 100 Best Landscapes in Kansai Nature. Nagisa Park is surrounded by Mt. Hiei and Lake Biwa.
