I was fortunate to get a long 4-day holiday weekend break for Easter from my dietetic internship and graduate school classes, and Katina was on a trip to Virginia for a pizza eating contest. I decided to try 4 HUGE food challenges around Wisconsin that I've been wanting to attempt since moving to Milwaukee in Summer 2021. For man vs food eating challenge #3, I traveled up and over to Appleton, Wisconsin so I could attempt to become the 2nd person to complete the triple meat 8-8.5lb Jumbo Mexican Burrito Challenge hosted by my friends at Taco House. I had just 30 minutes to shut up and eat a triple meat Mexican burrito filled with 1lb portions of 3 tasty meats - chicken, grilled steak, and pork al pastor mixed with grilled pineapple chunks. Also wrapped inside the 4 giant burrito tortillas was 1lb Mexican rice, 1lb "Drunken" pinto beans, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and then lots of cheesy queso sauce, sour cream, and a green avocado sauce. I was trying to become the 2nd person to earn my $48 Mexican burrito meal free plus a sweet custom t-shirt and spot on the Wall of Fame.
