Soaring Over Migrating Gray Whale Pair off Palos Verdes Coastline Shot by iDronedMyself™ in 6k on DJI Mavic 4 Pro Finally! After more than a year of exploring and searching for my "white whale," I finally found it...or more precisely, two migrating gray whales making their way along the coast of Palos Verdes earlier today. These two beautiful creatures were slowly meandering northward (along with some others) but only occasionally surfacing for a few short seconds before diving deep and disappearing. With the help of my expert spotter (@nohasedlik) I was able to catch a glimpse of them cruising side by side, position myself directly overhead and follow them along their route for a few hundred yards before they vanished into the deep blue sea together. It was a magical experience and I'm already looking forward to the next time I can capture some images of these awesome giants!
