Fifi's French Adventure - Driving our vintage Citroen 2CV in the sunshine of November in Provence

On a glorious November afternoon, is there anything better than rolling back the roof on our vintage Citroen 2CV and taking a gentle drive along the quiet roads of The Luberon in Provence, in the South of France. This little drive takes us along The Luberon valley towards the pretty hilltop village of Lacoste, home to the partially ruined Chateau that has been owned by both The Marquis De Sade and more recently Pierre Cardin. From there we drive through the cherry orchards towards the glorious hilltop village of Bonnieux, before taking the winding road that runs through the vineyards, glowing with their autumn colours, along the front edge of the hill, back to Apt, the Capital of The Luberon. Provence in autumn is spectacularly beautiful with a gentle peace that comes with the season and light that still makes our hearts sing, even with the shorter days and cooler temperatures.
