Sunny is 10 weeks old (71 days old and Gizmo is 67 days old). Just because we are on fledge watch does not mean we will have a fledge right away. It can take days or a few more weeks - it is basically a wait and see who will fledge first and when. The video opens with Sunny standing on the left, Gizmo lying in the nest and Jackie on front porch. Our cam op gives us some gorgeous zooming on Sunny first! Notice Sunny has a straight gape (lip line) as one of the defining features (besides the white in the tail). Then the cam pans out and we see Gizmo get up to PS and we have great zooming again! Notice the upturned yellower gape line for Gizmo. Always looking like Gizmo is smiling! Later, the siblings share some cute beakies together showing their strong bonded connections with one another. At the end of the day, Gizmo is lying in the nest, Sunny is standing on the nest rails preening (Jackie on front porch). Gizmo does cute head tilts watching Sunny!
