Hoya retusa is also commonly known as grass-leaved hoya and is one of a number of Himalayan hoyas, which likely require a bit of a cold period in order to stay healthy and flower. I have several of these throughout my house and is #179 of "365 Days of Plants". The large planter was given to me by a lovely young lady who painted it herself at one of my book tours at Homestead Gardens in Maryland.
