This is a test of a new product - Solabiol Bande de glu - which is a glue band for fixing around fruit trees in winter. Glu bands help to trap insects that either destroy the fruit or weaken the tree. It catches insects that as they move up and/or down the trunks and large branches of the tree. It is the first time I've used this product at La Rabine and this test shows how it's not quite as easy to put in place as the maker claims!
