After a long excursion that saw me into Worksop, then Rotherham and Doncaster in April, I took the Sherwood Arrow back home into Nottingham while the sun dramatically fades into the night in the span of 1 hour. Sherwood Arrow is a long distance route operated by Stagecoach East Midlands from Nottingham to New Ollerton every hour, with bi-hourly extensions into Bassetlaw's biggest towns of Worksop via Budby and Carburton or Retford via Walesby, Tuxford and Elkesley.
