I'm finally glad to get this video out! Think of it as the threequel to my "Lore Accurate Dante" series with songs featured from the Netflix show! I'm not even kiddin' when I tell ya this, but it took around 80 to 100 tries to finally get it right. At least that's what it felt like because I lost count! It just goes to show you that recording an all in one take/combo video like this is hard as fuck! Especially when I'm holding an SSS rank for nearly 4 minutes while not taking any damage, and syncing Dante's attacks to the beautiful music! In Legendary Dark Knight, no less. Speaking of which, Amy Lee absolutely knocked it out of the park with "Afterlife"! Her vocals are so powerful like they usually are, and her talent is such an amazing addition to the world of Devil May Cry. What a world that we got Evanescence, Limp Bizkit and Papa Roach officially affiliated with DMC, eh? While I really loved recording the first 2 videos with "Rollin'" and "Last Resort", this video here with "Afterlife" hits different because that song was specially made for DMC!
