How Powerful Are The Aztec Gods?

Have you ever wanted to know how powerful the Aztec gods are? why? anyways, here's the answer. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS! the following are things i should have said in the video but i didn't because it would have made the video even longer: 1) i'm assuming you've seen my video on the maya gods (link to that video at the bottom). 2) i've reconstructed a narrative that both make sense (to me anyways) and it is also entertaining to watch but aztec mythology is not consistent so things are not as neatly organized as i am making them out to be. 3) i'm using sources that are not in english. if i had access to english translations i would have used them but some texts are not available in english. 4) at 01:39 i show an excerpt that says tezcatlipoca was fighting against quetzalcoatl to see who could become the sun but i say xipe totec is the one fighting quetzalcoatl. here's the explanation: there are 2 tezcatlipocas; red tezcatlipoca and black tezcatlipoca. red tezcatlipoca is xipe totec while black tezcatlipoca is regular tezcatlipoca. 5) the weapon of huitzilopochtli is probably a thunderbolt instead of a fire serpent. in some sources fire and electricity are treated as synonymous and huitzilopochtli's weapon is said to be blue (just like electricity). 6) quick xipe totec scaling since i know it will be asked. he should be around as powerful as quetzalcoatl, he created fire, his fire was so powerful it created the constellations of ursa major and gemini and he created an infinite amount of beings. in some sources these beings are the 400 brothers while in others they were just humans. 7) as for how strong would the mesoamerican gods be if you mixed aztec and maya sources, you don't need me for that. i gave you all the pieces, it is now up to you to put the puzzle together. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- some of the sources used for this video can be found online.
