Oh boy, is this next bunch a tough one. Today, 3 ninjas of the Wild Rebellion, including a potential applicant, will face 3 characters from SNK’s Ninja Masters fighting game, two of them from Descolor, the other one is the final boss. So, let’s see what kind of cheap tactics we will encounter for today? Every song comes from Ninja Masters The Wild Rebellion presents “Masters of cheap ninjutsu” Match 1 Starring: Mai (DivineWolf) Opponent: Sasuke (Descolor) Stage: Sasuke’s Stage (Kyoman) Music: Yosha Power (Sasuke’s Theme) First up we have the main protagonist of Ninja Masters, Sasuke. He can be pretty annoying with the trademark Descolor high amount of damage, with his tendency to try and get up close and combo you, sometimes he’ll spam projectiles from afar, and his hyper attack will do a good majority of your health. I had to keep him at bay with Mai and use her fans to cancel out his shurikens and find openings in his attacks. Match 2 Starring: Ibuki (GM) Opponent: Kamui (Descolor) Stage: Kamui’s Stage (Kyoman) Music: Madman’s Nightmare (Kamui’s Theme) Would you believe me if I said I fought this one last? Because Kamui is so much worse than his friend/rival. He has a tendency to spam his uppercut, which does a lot of damage and can be chained, he can spam 3 kunai from afar, and his hyper attack, while it doesn’t do as much damage as Sasuke’s, can still be chained into another special and that adds to the massive amount of damage. A potential applicant had to be called in to take him down, as Ibuki managed to counter his kunai throw with her own slide attack, and her kunai throw managed to keep him at bay, and combined with her low kick, that proved to be the winning strategy against him. Match 3 Starring: Hiryu (Splode) Opponent: Nobunaga (Nobun) Stage: Nobunaga’s Palace (Nobun) Music: Light in a dream rusting away (Nobunaga’s Theme) Finally, we have the final boss of Ninja Masters, and the guy I fought first, Nobunaga. He loves to rush you down with various different sword strikes into a flame barrier, which does a good chunk of your health if it lands. His specials include a kunai throw which can juggle you, a cape grab which can one shot you and the infamous lightning bolt which one shots you if you don’t block it. Speed was key to defeating Nobunaga, as I had to advance guard Nobunaga away from Hiryu, then strike when he leaves himself open, once you figure his pattern, it makes fighting him a lot easier.
