Held in conjunction with Purdue Homecoming on Sept. 23, 2017, this "IE = CEO: Dynamic Careers in Industrial Engineering" alumni panel discussion included seven Purdue IE alumni and one current undergraduate. They discussed how Purdue IE shaped their diverse careers in healthcare, insurance, higher education, consulting, and the military. Panelists were: Bob Nommensen (BSIE '83), Managing Director of Milliman IntelliScript; Juan Diego Velasquez (BSIE '98, MSIE '03, PhD '09), Managing Director of Purdue Engineering Strategic Initiatives; Carlos Moreno (BSIE '94), Procurement Director of Kimberly-Clark’s Latin American Operations; Mike Heard (BSIE '89), President of Washington National Insurance Company; Steve Dumbauld (BSIE '72), Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (retired); Shari Eberhard (BSIE '16), Eli Lilly Supply Chain; Raghav Ghandi (BSIE '17), Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers; and Michael Bailey, a current IE junior.
