#Tabs Support the channel: / pooklowend What to say about this song? Only that it probably was the first time I've heard of Aerosmith (that image of Steven Tyler sliding down a pole on stage in some awards gig, like a demented fireman, with his white lycra bear-chested outfit, will stay with me forever), and, like any self-respecting child of the nineties, I too went and got this record, with it's earring-wearing udder on the cover, and the rest of the chart-shattering singles: "Crazy", "Amazing" and "Cryin'". With Aerosmith's next record, "Nine Lives", I discovered the power chords on guitar, and couldn't stop rockin' since then. A very slidey bass line - a lot of slides; it reminds me of "Give it Away", by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It would be interesting if somebody with musical theory knowledge takes the time to do a comparison between the two. Tom Hamilton's is the slower of the two, for sure, giving it a wavey feel to it. As with other bass lines of his, it gives the song a feel that wouldn't be the same without it. The next one will be a fire I won't resist...
